Our History

Being in the waterproofing industry for over 20 years, I have seen a lot of damaged decks. Damaged decks also damage buildings. The one place that normally has the most damage is where the deck terminates into the wall. This is the weakest area where the waterproofing and sidings stop. Many times, contractors only use a calk joint.

The problem is big as the damage can go unseen for years. The solution however is simple, keep the water out of this deck to wall termination point.

Years ago I painstakingly made a metal tray and started making solid urethane wedges. The wedge-its are the same product as the base coat and can be installed into any urethane system. The more I used them the more architects started to specify them. It only took 2 years to get the system patent and start making them in large scale batches.

We are now ready to bring the Wedge-It to the construction world, saving both decks and buildings from water damage everywhere.
